In 2006, Audi launched a portal dedicated to its customers but also to fans. The objective is clearly to build a customer relationship in giving acces to services, informations and answers to specific customers' needs.

Customers have the possibility to register and manage their Audi thanks to a personal profile and an assistance module. They can subscribe to newsletters and watch the Audi TV channel. The portal also send invitations for different events and depending on their preferences, such as invitations for the Paris Motor Show or other new Audi car previews.

Finally, the website myaudi.com stays open to those who are non-owner but are expecting to become. Thus, it is possible to configure its own Audi, then to purchase it or simply to upload a brochure.

In 2007, the website received two awards : one for the "Rich Media" price given by the Ujjef (a Corporate communication association) and one coming from Stratégies Communication in the "Website" category.

Since, Audi continues to enrich its website with new opportunities. For example, the portal lets the best customers and partners to participate to a circuit race, the "Audi Endurance Experience". People have to suscribe to participate to a three hour qualifying race, competing with non-professional pilots. Then, the bests are competiting for a final during 24 hours. Particularity : all are driving the same car, an Audi A1 1.4 L. The competition was launched in 2011, in order to promote the new city model.

Such experience create a real brand community. The network is not only about virtual exchanges but real meetings toward Audi lovers and the strong values of Audi (ndlr : sportiness, progressiveness and sophistication).

Recently, Audi worked with a communication agency, BIMM, to set up a program seeking to reinforce the customer/supplier relationship between the order and the delivery. Indeed, thanks to "MyAudi Tracker", people can follow the production process of their "baby" via their online account. A good way to reassure customers during this quiet and long 3-4 months period. Clients will receive images, text and videos at each step of the manufacture.

For the time being, the German group is the only automotive seller to propose such opportunities thanks to myaudi.com.
